The objective of this project was to craft a compelling landing page and an informative about page for a famous brand specializing in premium golf equipment. The client's request for a rebranding initiative opened up an exciting opportunity for me to also engage in logo design work.
This company has been known for delivering the finest golf equipment for many decades. As we enter the age of modernization, they are eager to refresh their brand to ensure their products reach an even wider audience.
The client provided a reference font style, "Perfectly Nineties," along with specific visual style preferences. They expressed their desire for a contemporary website design that incorporates a hint of 90's aesthetics. This design choice serves to highlight their extensive experience in the industry and their commitment to delivering high-quality products.
I gathered all the requirements and looked at a few similar websites for ideas. I checked out Golfy.com and evergreengolfindia.com, carefully studying their designs and how they brand their products.
The "Perfectly Nineties" font was chosen as a reference to convey the brand's authenticity and its extensive history. I combined the "Perfectly Nineties" font with "Gilroy," a contemporary and sharp typeface that symbolizes the present era.
After creating some options for logo design our team finalized the logo. I played a part in crafting the brand's overall visual identity by defining the color palette, selecting fonts and imagery, and establishing the overall style.
Because the company serves as the bridge between customers and the product, both the Home page and the About page hold significant importance on the website. The Home page serves as a critical tool for enticing customers, while the About page narrates the product's origin and underscores its authenticity.
